It was a packed house last night at the GNSA meeting. Eighty nursing students attended the meeting and made plans for activities throughout the academic year. The first activity is the GNSA Social scheduled for Saturday October 24th from 3-6 pm at the home of Maurice Souza.
School of Nursing t-shirts were available for pick up. Second year MEPNs reminded others that the t-shirts come in handy on international trips as well as in the community setting.
Dean Hardin requested student volunteers to give guided tours of the BINR during the Spring Gala. See one of the GNSA reps if you would like to volunteer.
Believe it, or not the holidays are around the corner. SAVE THE DATE: Wednesday, December 9th at 12 noon is the School of Nursing Holiday Luncheon.
The Graduate Student Nursing Association (GNSA) is comprised of all students in the School of Nursing to establish a social network among students and faculty and impact the community through volunteerism. Staffing pop-up clinics, organizing charity fundraisers, presenting guest speakers, and throwing networking events are just a few of the fun ways the GNSA builds a community of nursing leaders and strengthens our community at large.
